Hi, If you have a Clair's shop in your local mall go there and get their ear cleaner. It is much better than using alchol. Also, you may be only able to wear surgical steel earrings for a while or forever. I can only wear them or real gold and I am 51y/o and got my ears pierced when I was 16. Clair's has the best product to clean your ear piercing with. Good luck to you.

If you have hydrogen peroxide, put some on a cotton ball and clean the area very well (use a fresh cotton ball for each ear). What are the earrings made of? Chances are you should stick to hypoallergenic earrings in the future.

I had that exact problem, you are suppose to put alcohol in your ear hole thingy. It turns out I was alegic to the earrings, I can only wear gold earrings, maybe you have the same problem. From now on, you should wash your earrings in alcohol before wearing them, the back of the earrings have to be gold, too.

dont wear those earings. if they were gold then you might be allergic to gold and dont wear any gold earings. if they were silver then you might be allergic to silver and dont wear silver earings. Good Luck with that and I send my best wishes to you.

if they have recently been pierced , clean them out and put some broom corn in the holes so they don't close up. most people aren't allergic to real broom corn. keep them clean.
