I choose blind. If I could still listen to music and talk I would be OK. Death and dead are pretty much the same thing.

With your additional details, I would choose deaf. Sign language can be learned and I can't imagine not seeing my beautiful boys faces or the faces of my future grandkids, or a sunset, a flower or many of the other wonders of the world.

Blind I wouldnt be able to see the people I love or draw.

I can always still email people, and write what I want to say.
