Of course not. The number of Palestinians in the region is now higher than it was at the time of Israel's foundation. If this is an attempted genocide, the Israelis are as hopeless at extermination as GW Bush is at governing. Seeking to destroy Hezbollah, even though ham-fisted methods, is not an attempt to destroy in whole or in part an ethnic, national or religous group, but Holocaust parallels are a favourite tool for the lazy and unimaginative.

Your question is in bad taste.

Israel took military action against Lebanon on the basis that several of their soldiers were killed or kidnapped during a fight with Hezbollah. Since Lebanon has done nothing to curb the militant activities of Hezbollah and is quite happy to provide refuge for these terrorists, Israels decision to enter Lebanon with troops is fully justified. The US and Britain had put together a much weaker case for the invasion of Iraq. Israels reaction is, however, disproportionate to the crime. Poor precision targeting lead to the destruction of schools and the homes of innocent Lebonese which is not the way foreward in the fight against terrorism.

Israel isn't trying to systematically eradicate a race or ethnic group. If Hezbollah was made up of renegade Jews, the response would have been the same.

No. It is under attack from Islamofascist terrorists whose stated aim is to wipe the state of Israel off the face of the earth. They are merely defending themselves. And simply by asking such a loaded and slanted question you are giving succour to a bunch of murderous killers. It's a good job you weren't around when Hitler was in power. No doubt you would have been defending his actions.

Would you in the very least accept that Israel was provoked, or acted in retaliation? Why are they guilty of a genocide when they are defending themselves? I've never heard of Israeli suicide bombers or sending groups armed to attack people in schools or hospitals or in restaurants... or subways or buses...

What about those groups that send suicide bombers or kidnap and torture and behead Red Cross volunteers, news reporters, medical personnel out to help the injured (mostly children, women and the elderly)? What about those? Or are you wearing blinders?

Your question seems a bit ludicrous in view of the fact that there are two sides that are equally quilty of atrocities but you imply with your asinine question that one side is more quilty than the other... as opposed to both sides being guilty of atrocities, commonly known as war.

That same definition you cited can easily apply to what's going on between certian Muslim groups or certain tribal wars in Africa... That's the kind of talk that prevents peace efforts from being affected.

You seem more hell-bent on finding a fault with Israel moreso than with being fair or with finding a peaceful solution.

"nicely, i assumed that they had already worn out you Amalekites lower back in previous testomony situations, yet no, they do no longer seem to be attempting to exterminate a team of people. they are only unwilling to enable that team of people rigidity them into the sea. If self-protection is genocide, you have a humorous way of finding on the international." "NO. Israel is traditionally a sufferer of genocide." the two are enormously plenty valid factors that Israel isn't to blame of genocide. the Jewish human beings have constantly been sufferers of genocide by way of fact of their faith. they have been sufferers throughout the time of the Crusades and the newer historic previous of the German national Socialists (Nazi occasion) by way of fact Hitler believed they tainted the international. Mahmud Ahmadi-nejad needs the Israeli human beings worn out, yet he additionally needs absolutely everyone to be worn out who have not got self assurance the comparable way he dose and he's loopy and unsafe sufficient to reason international huge genocide. the Ayatollah Homing realizes how risky Ahmadi-nejad and the Ayatollah Coming by way of fact they the two have self assurance interior the 12th Imam, hence naming then Twelvers. those Twelvers are very risky and loopy sufficient to reason international huge genocide and that they go with international huge genocide if absolutely everyone do no longer convert to their version of Islam

Were you asleep? Who started this latest conflict? I'm sorry that your wish has not been granted and all the Jewish race aren't dead. Next time can you ask Hezbollah not to hide amongst innocent civilians. I'm very sorry for the ordinary Lebanese people because as usual they are paying the price

No. Israel was attacked and defended their country. The Hezzbollah and the ones who were supporting them are guilty of breaking rules by imbedding themselves in with innocent civilians. They also broke the rules when they kidnapped military personnel from Israel and I can guarantee you they didn't follow the rules with the treatment of them either.
