I think death is an absolutely fasinating subject, especially the afterlife part!I love to hear stories about neardeath experiences! It`s all about how you look at it.What is her interest in it?It wouldn`t be good if its morbid or if she just wants to look at gross pictures!

Depends. I love morbid stuff & would NEVER kill myself.
But some people use this as a cry for help.
If she starts giving her stuff away, that a HUGE sign she seriously contemplating suicide. Keep an eye on her but don't worry too much, usually it's a phase.
Besides, findadeath is a VERY interesting site ;)

Hmm, this is a tricky one.
Death is powerful and shocking,
it could be a passing faze or does she want to commit Homicide genocide or even suicide, she need s to get that order right.
she certainly has a value on life as well.
prehaps she may like to go to highgate cemetary where lots of famous people are buried lots of people do that.
stick with her

Maybe she is a little gothic. Maybe she was an undertaker in a previous life. As long as she isnt slitting her wrists, just let her be interested. Could be worse.... could be interested in having sex with TONS of people all the time, or doing drugs 24/7.

Stop and think before you act. Don't judge her or come at her the wrong way she will get affended. Who knows she might be intrested in becoming a cia agent. I mean some one obsesses with basketball its obvious they want to be in the NBA or WNBA but people don't think of it as an obsession just a hobby but when your friend is intrested in death everyone think something is wrong with her. Just talk to her. GOOD LUCK!

there was a point when i was younger and all i thought about was death, not killing myself but how it feels to be dead, i guess i was scared of it in a sense and wanted to know more about it. Your friend may be curious about the here after, but i think it's important that you relate to her that life always ends in it's own time and that now is for the living. Hope i helped.

Well, no one can answer this for sure because no one is inside of her head, but if you're really worried, you have an obligation as a human to tell her parents of your concerns. Perhaps it's a phase, something that intrigues her and it's perfectly harmless. But if it's not and she's looking for ways to "off" herself, you' feel super guilty if you didn't shed light on this.

Your friend needs the help of a competent suicide councelor. There is no reason that any normal person can understand. You know the old saying: "Talk is cheap, but good whiskey costs money"

Did your friend have a close call? If you dont know ask. That really changes a person when they have a near death experience...Or your friend could just be curious.
