In several billion years when the sun expands into a red giant. Turn off your TV and stop letting the Turkey Lurkeys tell you the sky is falling. The Earth has been warmer than it is now for 90% of the history of life...and life thrived. People are so ignorant of the climatic history of this planet it's just incredible. You know what is unusual? ICE AGES!!! Polar ice caps included!! Most of the time the Earth has not had ice caps. It's amazing so few people know this very basic fact. Ice ages are far more detrimental to life than the planet getting warmer...the fossil record CLEARLY shows this.
