When you add a question on the watch list, you can easily see it later by clicking on your nick to see your status. Watch list questions are at the bottom.

You can put questions on the watch list so it stays on your q/a page. This way you won't have to start hunting around. It saves some time.

When you see a question that you think you answered really well, or would also like to know what other people thought about it, you can put the question on your watch listen to see if people are voting your answer as the best, or what other peoples opinions are on a certain subject.
