I used to think so until I had kids. I get embarrased when they scream, so we usually stick to the family style restaurants. We save the romantic places for the babysitter nights!
But the kids aren't brats- it's the parents fault. When my kids scream it's because I'm not meeting their needs. Either they're hungry, wet, or tired, and good parents should plan for that before they leave the house.
What really bothers me is the movies! I can't stand paying $10 to see an adult movie at night and people bring 5 year olds. They whine, drop popcorn in my hair and kick my chair! GRRR!

They are only acting the way their parents allow them too. Yes there should be a law and the punishment should be discipline for both the parents and the kids. Not standing in the corner, timeout count to three BS but a good spanking to teach them respect and yes discipline which is sorely lacking in this country now.

Please! I bet YOU were one of the BIGGEST screaming brats ever. Everyone starts out as a kid, and being a kid comes with its set of challenges and learning hurdles. Maybe we should make a law banning loudmouth people who protest for social justice, or maybe we should make laws banning anoying teenagers who swear and make out in public places. I think you are just jealous because it would be a social taboo for you to throw yourself down in public and scream when you dont get your way. Im guessing you do it at home quite a bit. Oh and one more thing my kids probably say more while throwing fits than you do in a day. Enjoy nurturing your cheezy righteous indignation bratty pants.

do you mean like you? you're annoying. young children are not responsible for their responses to things. you'd scream too if you were uncomfortable or in pain and didn't have the words to express it like a young child. shame on you.
