This online friend of mine (a friend of a friend) exchanged numbers with me recently, i have been chatting to him online for about 8 months...yesterday we were having a text conversation (for ages) and i said:

"there's no point wasting my time texting you when i will see you online later"

He replied "wasting your time? fine."

I dont know if he is upset because everytime i see him on messanger, he starts the conversation with me first, but today he didnt at all.......do you think he was offended in some way?

Its not fair, he always says things to me (ranging from stupid to offensive) and i ALWAYS take it as a joke...why should he take this one off comment as anything more?

I feel guilty now.

He sounds a bit too sensitive to me, he probably feels like he makes more effort with you contacting you first etc, if i were you i would sign onto your messenger and talk to him first, just say sorry if u took what i said the wrong way etc and see where it goes from there, but if he makes out like you hurt him badly i'd tell him to loosen up and set him straight on how you take his jokes.

Well he must be a sensitive person thats why just a single word from you offended him...and also he must be considering u as a good friend and when u said tht he must have felt that he was bothering u and wasting ur time all these time and that has to be the reason why he didn't start the conversation on messenger. This is not because he is really angry at you he must just have felt hurt...so in my opinion what u should do is apologise to him and tell him that you didn't mean it in any harmful way and also..keep saying it again and again until he forgives....and see him as a good friend too not just as a friend's friend...hope everything will work out for you good...:D
