i am in florida but i want to go back home to texas and i do not want to pay the the money to break my lease.

if you break your lease then all the charges that would apply when you signed your contract will be charged to you and if you dont pay them it will go onto your credit (which will effect it..been there done that) and it will be on your record for 7 years! I would say just wait untill your lease is up and dont renew..untill then you can take your time finding a good place or be put on a waiting list(if there is one) for somewhere you would like to be in Texas

It goes on your credit unless you pay it off.
