There is no way, shape or form that a professional ball player would "Fake It" just so he doesn't have to play for a manager. He is injured so often, because he was abused in College...by abused, I mean, USC & Vanderbilt threw him a lot. He pitched a TON in high school, a ton in college, and it finally caught up to him.

Some players bodies are prone to injury, while others are not. Unfortunately for Prior, he is one of the ones that will never shake the DL time...he will always have injury problems...it's just how he is. But I believe a lot of the problem, occured before he ever made it to the pros.

He is very injury prone. I remember when the Minnesota Twins drafter Joe Mauer with the first pick and the Cubs took Prior second overall and all the criticism the Twins received for drafting Mauer. Who's the genius now?

With all of the aches, pains, injuries and conditioning problems I think the Cubs might want to invest in different medical personnel. And take the entire Cubs managerial staff with them. Time for a little house cleaning!

Because he always gets injured.

No he is not faking. He is just another arms that Dusty and the Cubs abused and blew out.
