I really didn't want either to win..............however from the 2 I prefered France to win...........anyone but Italy..............and I mean that anyone.............

FRANCE. 100% without a doubt.
I have never liked Italy because they cheat so often and I knew right away before the game that some scandalous **** was going to go down because that is how Italy plays.
I wanted France to win because it was Zidane's last appearance and he is a great footballer.
I have nothing against ITALIANS. I actually have Italian friends, but i will tell anybody that asks that I was rooting against the Italians because I've seen players like Materazzi and other Italian players make a fool of the most beautiful sport in the world. You can see why there leagues are falling apart.
France was playing the better game and they're the winners in my heart.
And for whoever said Italian players don't cry...you have never watched Italian football, they cry all the time. Alot of players do.

I always wanted France to win .Who will want a bunch of cheaters like Italy to win?I'm disappointed that a team who don't respect the ethics of the beautiful game have won.i'm sure France will win the next WC and Euro Cup.

Italy, because they had a lot more team spirit than the French team did. I mean, if France didn't have Zidane, they wouldn't have made it through the preliminaries, let alone come this far in the tournament. The fact that they depended on a penalty kick in the match versus Portugal only deepened my doubts. The Italians worked hard, as a team - even the goals were relatively spread out among the players - and they were so talented, it was hard not to expect them to win.

I WANTED FRANCE TO WIN.
FRANCE ONLY LOST BECAUSE OF BAD LUCK AND BECAUSE OF A CERTAIN SCUM CALLED MATERAZZI. IT WAS NOT THE WILL OF GOD, IT WAS THE WILL OF CHEATING.
FRANCE DOMINATED DURING THE ENTIRE GAME.
FRANCE WAS ROBBED OF THE VICTORY AND GLORY IT DESERVES.
IT BROKE MY HEART WHEN TREZEGUET MISSED THE PENALTY AND I SAW HIM AND THE OTHER FRENCH PLAYERS CRYING.
FRANCE SHOULD HAVE WON BECAUSE ZIDANE IS A LEGEND.
FRANCE PLAYS WITH DIGNITY AND IS AN HONOURABLE TEAM.
LIFE IS NOT FAIR BECAUSE THE BETTER TEAM LOST...BUT THERE WILL BE REVENGE IN THE FUTURE.
FRANCE BECAME THE VICTIM OF CHEATERS AND BAD LUCK, LIKE MY DEAR DEUTSCHLAND, WHO ALSO PLAY WITH HONOUR.
IN MY HEART, FRANCE ARE THE REAL CHAMPIONS ANYWAY. ITALY MAY HAVE THE TROPHY, BUT FRANCE AND GERMANY HAVE THE HONOUR, AND THEREIN LIES THE TRUE GLORY.

Italy - they had killer defence and nearly every guy on the team could score, you know, like a team. France had a couple of good strikers, thats it

I wanted Italy because my family is from there. And they also play with such heart. I love those guys.
