That was the best movie ever!! John Travolta and "Whackeem" Phoenix (I know that the spelling is not right but that is what I call him) lol...it doesn't get any better than that!!! 2 gorgeous actors in one great movie-and also I am from Baltimore and I went everywhere looking for them two guys!! I cried when that little red car pulled up to the house...very sad!

I did. What a great movie. Definitly one of my favorite movies that's come out lately, even though it's two or three years old lately. Action for the guys. Love for the girls. Suspense, comedy, and drama for everyone in general. Great movie.

My brother made me watch it! Although when I started to get into it I bawled and cried the whole night. A guy shouldn't cry, but I am really sensative, it was sad!!

John Travolta notwithstanding, I'd say it qualifies as a great 'guy cry' flick...the kind that even guys aren't ashamed to cry at.

i saw it... i thought it was alittle sad... but unrealistic... kinda like backdraft but atleast in backdraft they showed teamwork... in ladder 49 they were always going off on their own... which if your a firerighter thats not a good idea... but still i amit it was still a pretty good movie....
