No one should want to see other people die from war, whether it is a legitamate reason to go to war or not. i myself am a pacifist. to some of you conservatives out there, Jesus Christ himself was a pacisfist. So was Muhammed and Abraham. They only became defensive when someone hindered their ability to practice their faith. there is nothing wrong with being a pacifist. i just want to know why people view others who are anit- war as someone who should be avoided?

LOL i dont live in a fantasy world. far from it. in fact, i currently stay in a housing project where people get robbed and killed all the time. i know about violence, and i didnt grow up in a fantasy world. my best friend was shot and killed a couple years back, and his blood stood right by the playground where kids play at. i know all about violence, which is why im not a big fan of it.

I feel that nothings wrong with being a pacifist. Everyone has their opinion on the war. You are entitled to view your opinion the way you choose to, thats your right to do. This war is wrong. I see the President of United States of America as an terrorist himself. This is not my war. The cause is not mind. This war is personal. So, I say to you be who you are. I TO AM A PACIFIST!!!!!!

The reason people think it is wrong is they feel we should uphold all the dumb sh** that goes on here in America. They feel that every WAR has a cause. This war don't have a cause. So why are we fighting a endless cause. They want the BUSHES not us.

because the first thing people think of when they want to solve a big problem is 'where's my gat?' people dont take time to reason. my best friend also got shot in the head only 2 months ago walking down a city street over something that wasnt even his problem or his fault it was his friend's fault. violence is just the quick solution i think but it never really solves anything. and its not just limited to 'the hood' i'm from jersey and ive lived in both 'hood' parts and the suburbs, the same **** goes down everywhere. it doesnt matter where you're from if violence is what you see what you hear and what you glorify, thats the first thing that will be on ur mind when there is a real problem.

What does that mean to be a pacifist? Very few people WANT to go to war - very few people LOVE war - most everyone I know LOVES PEACE. But sometimes you have to fight for your own security.
Whether the current hostilities qualify as necessary IS debatable, but simply saying "War is Bad" doesn't add much to the debate!

As an ex-serviceman I see nothing wrong in being a pacifist. It's not even necessarily got anything to do with religion, it's free will, and everyone is entitled to that.

Only insane people WANT violence.
However....... it is necessary, from time to time, to defend freedom against the forces that would make slaves of us and threaten our lives. If you let someone else do that for you and you make no attempt to defend it yourself - you dont deserve it.

Live your pacificsm in the middle east...... I dare you.
The reason you CAN be a pacifist is because there are brave souls ducking bullets in your stead.

Probably because they seem to live in a fantasy-world where everyong gets along and is happy. Such scenes do not exist in the real world.... when someone wants you dead and it is you or them, who are you gonna pick?
