Yes, if you are sure that being truthful would do that much damage, then it would be better to keep your feelings to yourself. Perhaps if you give this some time, circumstances will change, and one day you'll be able to express your love or perhaps by then, you will not feel this way any longer toward that person.

Well, I guess it would depend if you are loving secretly and the other party is unaware, or if you are loving secretly with another party actively participating. If it is your little secret, it should stay that way. If you and he are screwing around behind wives and husbands, etc., you are going to hurt people regardless. Better out in the open than hiding in shame.

hmm.. love is one thing..but bringing and searching for Positivity, Healthiness, and Happiness is important to.
for example, if u love someone who is addicted to drugs, who cannot help themself, and cannot help you, to become Better and Healthy, it is not good for you. *even if* you love that person.. it won't be Good for you. and that person will not be Right for you..because they will not be able to satisfy ur needs. =T
so u need to figure out if things are going to be Destroyed because your love is detrimental to urself and others, or if those people are wrong, if they are trying to push u away from happiness. it's a thin line, but u will know what is right. u will know what is Good, Healthy, Positive, Respectful, and True. if it gives u fear, or negativity, it's probably not good. be careful, and think hard about ur surroundings and consequences. love is important, and the foundation to all relationships..but u have to be able to USE that love to fuel it and keep it growing. and u have to trust that the other person can do the same for you....or it will turn into something negative and wrong and damaging.

YES!!! But you have to get it in your system quick. You don't want it to bite you in the neck, right? The reason the answer is yes is because that shows true maturity if you do. Truly loving someone is knowing that you want him/her but cannot because it would destroy your loved one's life.

People who allow themselves to be destroyed because of love, deserve to be destroyed because of love.

I'd say tell that someone alone, ask them how they feel, and move on. Because the more you dwell on it, the worse it'll get. Best of luck!
