if your knee still a problem, you might ask for a referral , or go to an orthopedic DO.he might x-ray your knee,? he or she might have you go for an MRI , and then suggest what is best for you . my doctor had sent me for physical therapy on the knee.,and finally arthroscopic surgery.now it is ice(frozen pea bags) and exercises from the physical therapist.

You really should go see a Dr., or at least get a referall as there is no telling what sort of damage might have occured to you knee. Also, your mother should be scolded most harshly by said Dr. for not gettng you to the hospital sooner. I hope everything works out for you, good luck.

well u should have gone straight to the er if not the doctor but now if u really want to keep playing and cant wait for your physical the there are some really nice knee braces you can go buy that will support your knee but for sure try to get to the doctor asap

If you do not go to a doctor you may not be able to do anything with that knee ever. That's what happened to me, now I need a replacement because I waited too long and the whole knee is shot and have arthritis in it as well.

You need to go to the DR!! Probably a sports or orthopedic Dr. If it's been 10 months something is wrong and the longer you wait the more likely it will be permanent!! Trust me on this!!

A torn ligament is painful. Consulting a doctor would have helped - regardless of whether it was torn or not. Since it is ten months past now, raise the issue as pary of your annual physical.
