The bicep stings to some degree, as well as the rear part of the shoulder. Really though, it depends on the person getting tattooed. Some have a high pain tolerance, while for others, it is low.
I have 20 tattoo's and all hurt, just some more than others. The bicep was lenient on the pain factor in places and stung at times too. But, a 5 needle round liner and 7 needle magnum going in to the skin 200 times a minute is going to cause some discomfort and pain.

Depends on the person, some people find it more painful than others. Also if you are more boney is the place being tattooed it will hurt more.
I have one on my shoulder blade that I barely felt and one on my ankle that really didn't hurt it was more of a weird feeling because he was going right on bone and in other places it made my toes twitch and that was odd.

Sweetie that area will hurt. It basically feels like a safety pin dragging on your skin. But what really psyches you out is the drill noise. Try to bring your ipod. I had mine on my shoulder blade and that hurt because it was near the bone. I heard on the back of the bicep it hurts as well......

A tattoo is applied with a needle going up and down into your skin for HOURS. I think it hurts pretty bad, espically on any boney parts, like the ankle. The booty is the 'easiest' since its mostly fat.

Not to bad it just stings like a shot. I have one on my shoulder blade and it hurt for a second like a shot at the doctor. You should be OK!

why do you want one? Don't you like your shoulder? If I were a christian I might suggest that trying to improve on the body the almighty chose to give you must be heathen, not christian. But I'm not, so I won't.

It feels like a cat is slashing at your back with it's claws
If you have a cat, you know it's not that bad. Still not pleasant, but not horrible either. Definately tolerable

I have 3 tattoos and each one hurt differently. I think it depends on where you are putting it. Mine are lower back (kinda medium pain), left hip (medium again), and mid back, (BIG ouch)
