I found a vintage pattern (link is below). This seems like a simple request and yet I found few if any patterns online. You might consider using the intarsia chart section for the stocking pattern for the snowman or santa (the second link below) and adapt it for use with a simple mitten pattern. They'd both be knit in the round and you'd only need to knit the chart from the bottom up vs top down with minimal shaping for the finger tips. Best of luck and happy knitting!

Well, I found this one for a Santa mitten, and some snowmen -- but not as mittens. You can just google free snowman knit pattern to find links -- maybe you'll see something you like! Good luck!!
