I don't mean a doppleganger or someone that looks like you. I'm talking deeper, like thoughts and personalities. Likes/dislikes...

I thought I have several times, and just when I was beginning to believe this person was so much like me, I find out the twisted truth that they are farthest thing from being like me.

I guess there is no one out there that will ever truly understand me, because I cannot even understand myself sometimes.

I have this evil side, and I have this good side, and it seems that I'm in constant struggle to be neutral.

yes, we dated for a while. First we thought we were "soulmates" but it was kinda creepy - not need to tell the other one where to meet(we would just wound up in the same place), kinda knowing what he's thinking about, liking the same books (and think the same about them), it just got ..... I don't know, it was no adveture after a while, no spark, like living with multiple yourself. My husband is different and thank god! its much more fun like this!

Good morning

Yes, maybe a couple of times but one springs to mind especially...she was nuts (which was good)...we had so many things in common that we clashed all the time: it started as a blisteringly hot thing but then went supernova very quickly (3 months)...

Viva la difference!

Yes...and it is very unnerving. I always said I never want to meet anyone just like me...it would be too scary...and one of "me" is enough. Then I discover people who think as I do...and some part of me falls a little bit in love with them...and I find myself repeatedly drawn to them. It doesn't seem to be confined in any way by age, race, or gender. If they ever turn out to be someone appropriate for me...I'll marry them! :)

yes. I am from Ohio, and she had lived in Germany for the past several years. We had never met before in our lives. But when we met, we found that we had almost all the same interests and we even had the same mannerisms. Weird!

The first night I met my boyfriend. We were complete strangers set up on a blind date. (I know...LOL) I was amazed at how much we clicked! I felt like everything he said I was like "Me too!" We were into the same bands and liked the same movies. Lot of similar thoughts on life. It was crazy cool!

I have found people who have similar ideas as my own...it doesn't scare me...but in a way it saddens me...because I sometimes think it is a shame that my husband doesn't enjoy the same ideas as my own. But I still love him and I am greatful for him...

I've met people who were so much like me but it didn't scare me since it was quite common.

My husband, actually. We joke that we shouldn't investigate our family trees too closely because we might discover they have intersecting branches! *L*
