Entering high school is shocking and dramatic, but what you have to do is be yourself, whatever that is, and enjoy yourself. When you do the two, people recognize this, and will gravitate to you. Who cares if your shorter or younger than most.... Someone else's heart is beating because their heavier, or they wear glasses, or they have failed before, etc. You have to be open, because in high school, its more people, with more attitudes, with more drama, and more, more, more. But just know, that this more will be the best time of your life. You dont need luck, so... have fun! And hey, congrats, this is a new and exciting milestone!

OH WOW! I was 13 when I went into H.S too......most ppl will just assume that you're naturally short. And 9 times out of 10, other ppl are busy doing their own thing there. Except other freshman, who are probably busy worrying too. Just relax, smile, stick with friends is a good idea, b/c the strongest friendships are made in H.S, I know mine were.
~Good luck in highschool!~

Everyone is scared when they go to high school! Cause it's a new experience and they want to fit in. Just be yourself. Smile and be friendly to everyone. Help them when you can and treat them nice and with respect. You'll do fine.

I was terrified, but tried not to show it. I hung with my friends, smiled a lot at people I didnt know and made new friends. I dont know what being short has to do with it...but work it. My neice is barely 5ft and loves being short, so rock it! good luck in school!!!

im going into high school this september and i guess im not too scared because my sister just graduated there and i know people. its a small school too. but still, being short has nothing to do with it! just be confident and smiley and DON'T get on anybody's bad side except if they're total skanks. then you can bitchslap em. but just be confident! don't worry!

I was scared too and also one of the youngest. Then I realized, as with most other things too, it's not as scary as I thought. You'll be OK.

I was a bit nervous then told my self to breathe and relax. Intorduce yourself and dont let them see your nervous. Act like you belong and stick with friends.
