You should, you're stuttering and acting guilty even in your typing.

Sounds like there was a huge lack of communication. Were you to pick her up and did you say you would and didn't? If she knew you weren't picking her up, then why didn't she get a ride with whoever picked up her sister? If this wasn't planned and you came to her aide at the last minute, she should be thankful that you were able to drop her off in the first place. Just sounds like this whole situation wasn't clear.

Dates come and go, but true friends last forever. you should have be up straight with this person and not beat around the bush like you have in your question.
SACRIFICE:::all of us make sacrifices every single day. Life is full of choices.
I can't say that you were wrong in leaving her there. I am not here to judge people. BUT I do believe that this situation could have been handled for the best of both.
Good luck with your friend.

If you told her prior to leaving that you had other plans then she should have made sure she had a ride home. Besides if it was her sisters graduation I can only assume her parents or some other family member was there. I wouldn't fret.

Yes. You were wrong. If you couldn't have brought her and stayed through the end, you should have told her that. Your lack of directness coupled with your selfishness created this situation. Apologize immediately.

This is kind of confusing and hard to read but nevertheless if a girl is mad at you, then yes, apologize. You will never win...it's just much easier to apologize, admit you're wrong and move on.

apologizing wont hurt and it makes you a bigger person. but set the record straight by apologizing you could not possibly have waited for her cuz you had somewhere to go and not apologize for not having waited for her. she should also realize that you are not supposed to be her maid-in-waiting hence, she does not even have the right to be mad at you.

That was kind of mean, but you had to do what you had to do. I believe it is best that you apologize anyways, because you don’t want your relationship to fall.
