I wanna give people advice

1) Get a 'domain name' e.g. www.mywebsiterocks.com
2) Get a 'web hosting'
3) Learn 'HTML' or get a 'website creator'
4) Get 'FTP software' and upload your site
(Type the selected words into search engine - you will get many results to pick from)
Better still is to try at using free websites and editors then once you want to get pro' do the above stages.

That depends on how full blown you want your site to be. You could use myspace.com for a personal site, very easy, or if you want a real site, think up a good name and register it though your ISP or through Godaddy.com. you can download a free 30 day trial of macromedia dreamweaver, or use MS frontpage to design the site and upload it. but really there's a little bit to it so youmight want to consult someone who has written pages before and see how they've done it. Also, above anything, write out an outline on paper before you start your site, that way you will have a framework to build upon.

just open a free website with yahoo and geocities. I would recommend reading a little on HTML and understand some on how they work, but yahoo makes it pretty easy to start a site. They have different options too, depending on how big you want to go. Once you get your site up and running, contact google and you can submit your site to their search engine. It takes a while but soon it will be in their files so people can find your site from searches. Good luck and read read read!! :)
