My husband became a member of an online dating service while I was away visiting my parents, he emailed people from around our area and sent them "winks". When I confronted him about it he said he just got bored, and he was never going to hook up with anyone. Now, he's mad at me because I thought he would cheat on me, am I the only one who would think this after seeing all that?

IMO you are asking this question because you are looking for someone to talk you out of what you already know.

Say for the sake of argument he was not cheating. Does that make it ok that the man you love who promised not to hurt you or put another in front of you has done something like this to compromise his vows to you as well as something you would NEVER do to him? How would he feel if the shoe was on the other foot? Is he happy that his stupid acts have put a giant wedge in the trust you once had, because I can guarantee you that you will NEVER trust this man again. You will ALWAYS wonder if he was capable of doing what he did, where does it stop? Was he really just out at the store? Who was he with, what were they doing.....

Sorry so harsh, but was married to a man just like this. It started off innocently and blew up to me finally divorcing him after realizing that he treated me the way I let him. I didn't put my foot down on this kind of thing, so he kept doing it to higher degrees, got mad when I questioned, etc.

What he did was a straight up disrespect to you, and if you are ok with that then get ready for more. You deserve so much better. Good luck to you
