depends on how big the cam is if you go to big you need to change lifters to a solid lift the stock wont hold up the car will sound like it is going to shut off it will shake a little it will not be a normal idle if you go to big you will need to change the tourge converter but this has nothing to do with idle you must put a carburator on that can supply enough gas to not stall the engine but back to your question if big no it will not idle normal

Depends on the grind. Cams have lift and duration, and often racing cams are set to work best at high rpm's. But as long as you don't get anything too extreme, your car should still idle okay, may make a bit more noise though.

It will idle, just not what you are used to with factory spec cams. It really depends on how radical the grind is. Remember that if you go very high in cam duration, a stock torque converter will be too tight to let the engine idle properly. If you are having problems with the idle, this is your problem if you are running a factory stall.

it will idle like it has a racing cam installed, hopefully you also installed a good set of headers and exhaust pacs so you may really enjoy the nice new rumble you have under the hood.

it would want to be some issues. in case your motor vehicle will start up with a bounce it no longer the starter, inspite of the undeniable fact that it would want to be the battery or the alternator. the suited guess is to take it to a save and get a load try executed. It this isn't an selection start up the vehicle turn on the lighting fixtures, radio, fan, ect and if the vehicle dies you desire an alternator and probably a battery. It the vehicle retains to run and the lighting fixtures do not dim you merely desire a sparkling battery.

Nope--she'll shake like a dog trying to crap tacks and will always sound like she's one cough away from dying on you. My brother's neighbor just finished putting one of those new 572 big blocks into his '81 Monte Carlo, racing cam, dual Holley carbs, the whole nine yards. Fast as sin, but at a stop light, it shakes so hard that your teeth chatter.
