My dad. I learned on a stick too. We used to drive around the arena parking lot, trying to avoid trees & parking pillars. I'm amazed my dad didn't get severe whiplash from the jerky-lerky movement from shifting. Then, I graduated to driving up hills---which is always fun when you're first learning stick shift. :) Good times.
I suppose he did a good job. My mom won't go anywhere if I'm driving, and they both say I'm the worst driver ever. LOL. But, we're all still alive and I've been driving for 10 years, so.....

Both my parents taught me in a 61 Dodge pickup. I think they did a good job because after 30 years still have a clean driving record.

My mom first, and then I took drivers Ed, but my old principal was the teacher, and he put us into groups of three. Well my group was my two best friends and I, (we were crazy potheads). We did so many stupid things (on purpose) and made him SO MAD! It was great.
Now I am a model driver, everyone should drive like me, I don't speed, always use my turn signals, stop at stop signs, and never pick up hitchhikers. (lol) I drive very cautiously and carefully because I have 2 very young children in the car with me.

My dad started to, but he just yelled at me and I quit for a little while. Then I tought myself, I grew up on a dirt road in a small town so it was easy to drive around and learn. My mom thought me how to drive in traffic and she did a wonderful job. Though I'm still a bad driver, hehe.

My mom and dad taught me how to drive. Then I took drivers education in school. My husband (boyfriend at the time) taught me how to drive a standard, and he also taught me how to drive an 18 wheeler. I am a better truck driver than he is! HAHA!
