Batting is on a roll, mostly used in quilts and on furniture.

Look for polyester fiber fill, it comes in a bag. It sorta looks like white cotton candy. It can be purchased most any where with a craft section.

Batting comes on a roll, used when making quilts.

You'd use stuffing for a plush toy.

I thought batting came in a roll like for comforters and stuff like that. Stuffing can be any generic term for things, including batting.

There are cliques in every area of life, especially in high school. The thing is, that sports are kind of limited by the number of people you are allowed to have on a team. I went to a girls' school, and the sports were completely taken over by a clique. These girls were all friends outside of sports, went to the same grammar school and/or grew up hanging out together in the same neighborhood. Their friends always made the team, even if they weren't really good. You'd have to be an Olympic-quality athlete to get a spot on the team. Even then they still wouldn't accept you into their clique. Coaches often grew up being in the sports clique in their school, so don't see anything unusual in their behavior. They may even think that it's best for the team spirit if the girls are all friends, and take a lesser talented friend over a more talented loner. Sometimes they might do this because they know the hard time this clique would give the girl who filled the team slot instead of their friend would be hurtful, and affect the team in the long run. Politics suk. What can you do? Where else can you play softball? Would you be willing to transfer to another school? It's kind of scary and adult to do this, but make an appointment to talk to the softball coaches at schools you think you could attend. Teen girls are the same from school to school, but the differences are in the coach. Is the coach one who thinks cliques are normal, or one who won't let the cliques decide who makes the team? Is the coach one who won't tolerate a bullying clique? Do some research. Are there any other places where you can play softball? Don't get rusty. Practice at batting cages. Even play pickup baseball. Can you go to camps, play with other groups, like workplace teams, social organization teams? Play with anyone you can. And if one of the mean girls or one of their friends needs your help, don't. As you see, it doesn't make them any nicer, and once they get what they need from you, you are tossed away like a used napkin. If you have to stay in your school try doing something else, explore other talents you may have, talents you may not even know you have. Drama, newspaper, music and media all can use more people, so the cliques in these groups don't have as big an impact. If you are busy, you will have less time to think about that nasty experience. And, if the softball team crashes and burns, you can take satisfaction (gloat quietly) in their loss. Who knows? If you are that good (and be THAT GOOD in gym or wherever you have the chance), the coach may seek YOU out. If that happens (it's a longshot, but it does happen), level with the coach. Be honest and say that you don't want to play on a team where you are bullied. Who knows? It may do some good. One last thought: write to one or some of the players on the United States Women's Olympic Softball team. Using the link below, you can even see if they are plaing exhibition games near you. If you are serious, write and ask for advice. Who knows? you may wind up on the team some day. Never give up your dreams, refocus if necessary, but don't give up.

Well, the coaches pick who they want on their team. There is always next year. Keep your head up, practice this year and try out again next year. As for the girls...girls will be girls, and they will ALWAYS be catty and mean. Even when they're fifty years old. Find the few girls who aren't and be friends with them. And be friends with guys. You'll be much happier.

There is no difference at all. The density is what you're looking for. Depends and what effect you're trying to achieve. Good luck!
