Shannon Burke of Clear Channel out of Orlando...he's a tattooed beer drinking radio talk show host with a conservative edge. Much more acceptable than the other choices and he stands for the everyday man/woman on the streets.

Michael Medved
Because he used to be a Hollywood liberal, but he woke up, he is also very intelligent and has quick & knowlegeable responses to every critical caller.

I also like Laura Ingraham, Dennis Prager and Glenn Beck.
I prefer intelligent open minded talk show hosts, as opposed to Rush or Hannity, I think they alienate more moderate people

I'm going off the beaten path here - if you like talk radio, try Mark Simone on WABC. Not really conservative - maybe more of a Rudy Giuliani (sp?) type. Actually, he has two shows - one is a sort of talk and interview show, the other a top 40 oldies music show. Streams on internet.

He's very talented and entertaining, and a respite from the hard-core politics. I have heard him substitute for Hannity, etc. at times.

Kinda middle of the road. And smooth. Very cool.

I thought this thread deserved at least one post that wasn't all partisanship!

Neal Boortz...syndicated from WSB in Atlanta. Conservative, but not just knee-jerk like a lot. He criticizes George Bush (and the Republicans) for a lot of things, and he really ticks off the Holy Roller Christian right wing. A lot of liberals hate his guts, because he gives them hell, too.
When ya got everybody p*ssed off at ya, you're probably doing something right.

Michael Savage; he's so out there! You never know what he's gonna talk about: Chinese food, IslamoFacists, his dog.... Plus I like that he'll have people on who disagree with him. And he has said if you're getting all your information from just him, then you're not really thinking.
I listen to him AND NPR.

E. Larry Elder

You should listen to him sometimes, I think he is on AM760 (although it may be AM790) but he is an African American citizen who speaks the truth and makes a lot of sense. I enjoy him, maybe you will too :)
