I love the Satellite Radio and YES I do pay for it. People pay for cable/Satellite TV don't they? So, there's your answer before you ask.

people who think that paying for radio is stupid have no idea what theyre missing out on. I have Sirius Satellite Radio and it is one of the greatest things I have ever purchased in my life. Commercial-Free Radio is the best, and the fact that the music is CD quality makes it even better. Why would i want to download songs or buy cd's when everything i ever need is at my fingertips??

FM radio is largely dead with tight formats. You are subjected to Nickelback and Led Zeppelin over and over. AM if it is still local is good for news and local coverage. Satellite radio really offers a lot of formats.

I have satellite radio and I love it. Just hate when it goes out under a bridge or something. Still wouldnt go back to regular radio though

I prefer FM/AM because I don't see the need to pay for something where I get what I want for free already. In regads to cable TV, there are more channels I want that I have to get cable TV for instead of just using what is sent over the few network airwaves. I pay for what I want, and if I can get it for free, I will do that instead.

Ya, I listen to fm usually, am on occasion because its free. I would never pay to listen to the radio, but i totally respect your decision to.
