If depends what type of program you're looking for.

If you want to earn a degree, RADA is the premier place to do it (and the auditions are therefore very selective). If you can get in it is the place to be!

If you're planning to study abroad then you have to go with BADA. That's their specialty, and it will be a good experience (I completed their summer program, and a friend did a full year). BADA does require an audition, but as far as I could tell it's more of a way test your commitment than a skill evaluation.

If you're planning to be in London next summer then I guess you should go for RADA, since BADA's summer program is in Oxford. I don't know much about RADA's summer program (having completed BADA's), but it looks like you may be able to get in without an audition.

There are other well-reputed programs in London, like Central School of Speech and Drama and LAMDA.

Good luck!

I believe that most acting schools will require some sort of an audition (probably a monolouge and a resume). You might need reccomendation letters to get in, and you probably will need a resume at the least. I don't think, especially in colleges and universities, they let you in just on a wim to act. I've heard of BADA before, but not of RADA. Good luck with your auditions!

Rada is where i want to go! You need to do tests and lots of work before getting in. Its like an audition. get some prospectuses and take a long time to mull over the different courses and what the school will give.
