Make sure you have maneuverability part of test down pat, they sometimes will test you on that first because so many people fail it. Keep both hands on steering wheel (at 3 and 9 o'clock positions on steering wheel). If you taking test in manual, as soon as your done shifting, put your hand immediately back on the wheel (the 9 o'clock position). At stop sign, when you stop, count to 3 slowly (one-one thousand, two-one thousand, etc.), then go. Other than than, stay calm, watch what your doing, and take your time changing lanes (with turn signal on first). Good Luck!!! =)

Brush up on the hand signals for turning/stopping--I was asked to demonstrate them.

Follow all traffic laws...don't run a red light, yield to pedestrians, don't follow another car too closely. Keep an eye on your speed and stay within limits. Remember to accelerate and decelerate smoothly (don't stomp down on the pedals to take off quickly or stop suddenly). Be polite. Smile. Answer all questions asked to you with confidence. Don't forget your seatbelt! Use your turn signals. If it's raining, turn on your headlights. Check your blindspots and mirrors (but don't rely soley on the mirrors) when turning out into traffic or merging onto a highway. Keep both hands on the wheel at the proper position (10 and 2) and turn off the radio.

My sugestions are:
Listen to the Examiners directions. Don`t forget procedure: Rear view mirror, signal and blind spot check ,as soon as you get any direction.Look well ahead in your intented path and check for speed limit signes, signals ,marking pavements , scan intesection, speedometar, side mirrors , following distance, and so on.
Keep your eyes moving all the time.Keep both hands on the steering wheel .Never make Rolling Stop ,do full Stop!Good luck!.

Take your time and don't rush through it. Make sure you pay really good attention and don't be nervous.
The biggest tip, they will probably make you drive through a school zone, so make sure you drive at least 30. If school is in session, it would be best to drive 20 which is the school zone speed limits. The lights don't have to be flashing for you to have to drive the school zone speed limit.

Good Great Luck to you!!!!

Good luck! The examiners want you to act mature, they will check to make sure you are giving right of way when you need to, whether that is to pedestrians or to other cars so be observant. Be smooth, be confident, they can learn a lot by watching how you parallel park so have that wired.

Take a deep breath, and listen carefully to the person giving you the instructions during the driving part of the test.

Don't turn on the radio, don't lean your seat way back, don't speed, and make sure you are respectful to the DMV staff. Try to act as you "should" (which always isn't what you want to do) - there is plenty of time for cranking up the radio once you have your license. Good luck!

Here's some: the correct word to use in your question is advice, not advise. I advise you to ask for advice.

Oh, and don't run over pedestrians. That usually doesn't go over well.
