it won't hurt you to taste it, if it tastes good, eat it. i wouldn't go more that 2 weeks though. 3 days should be fine if your fridge is nice and cold.

You should be fine. Just don't wait too much longer or it will spoil. I've done that before and never gotten sick. Rule of thumb, don't eat it more than five days after the expiration date (less is better) and if it smells or looks off, don't under any circumstances.

It all depends on the the type of yogurt, Is it one with lots of sugar and other fillers? Or is it an all natural one. The self life of most dairy products are 5 days form date of "best sold before". I hope I helped out

it's just BEST before. Open it and smell it before eating it,I don't think, it'll make you sick. My mom says you usually have 2/3 days after the expiration date

Does the container say "expiration date" or "sell by" or "best if used by"? The "sell date" assumes that there will be a few days afterward before the consumer uses it.
However, to be safe, don't eat it.

Well yes. If you are lucky you may escape harm but the eatables do have a shelf life and it is decided by experience and experiments. After the shelf life dangerous bacteria and fungi may grow and cause food poisoning. Do not please give such yogurt even to your doggy.

The expiration date is the date the product must be sold by.
If you kept it refrigerated it should be fine.
But given the cost involved, why bother?

it might still be ok, but by the time you read all these answers and rate the best one the yogurt will be green and hairy - I wouldn't chance it!
