UCLA still has a football program?

Even with the loss of Jordan Farmar, I think that the Bruins will have a strong starting 5 and....oh! I'm sorry. I read the words "return to glory" and "UCLA" in the same sentence and I immediately associated them with basketball. My bad. UCLA football and glory in the same sentence? I'm a big Bruin fan and I am holding my breath when it comes to this years Bruins football team. I regret that were back to being the Gutty Little Bruins. Where have you gone Troy Aikman? (Or Cade McNown for that matter!) I see them going 7 - 4.

UCLA has a little way to go to get back to the level they're accustomed to. But with the slightly softer schedule and the tougher games at home, they could go 7-5 this year and have plenty of returning starters next year. 2007 could be a good year for them if they stay healthy and build from this season.

7-5 with losses to Oregon, Notre Dame, Cal, Ariz. State, and USC. Next season will be a good year.
