Well I don't see it as much that women want shorter hair than longer. In fashion mags and also television, it seems that longer hair women still dominate in society. But at the end it depends on the female personal choice the way she choose to have lengths of hair or not. Some wear it long because it is deemed as gorgeous, glamorous and very attractive to men. Then there are short haired women find it much easier to manage and style and might want a different look. So in this society day and age, it is how you feel comfortable and to not conform to certain standards regarding hair.

I think that longer hair is prettier, but shorter hair is easier to take care of. My hair is shoulder-length right now.

I had long hair (down to my waist) for many years... one day I just went and cut it all off. Now, it's shorter than my boyfriend's. *lol*

My Hair is long and black and down to my Butt... it is so hard to take care of... it goes in your mouth and tangles up...my husband loves it and don't want me 2 cut it...
