I think we may be the only creatures that have a brain complex enough to wonder those things. Although how do you know that animals don't wonder. If dogs can miss you when you leave, can't they wonder where you went, or where you came from?
It's a stretch. If animals can love, they can think, therefore wonder, and guess. Maaaaaybe.

That's so true... They have no self doubt, they just live every day as if it's their last instead of questioning either a higher power or means of evolution. I don't know if i'd enroll my dogs in therapy though, I'm sure there would be some scammers out there just looking for money.

I'm sure I've read some books where the animals have been introspective and wondered who they are, where they came from, and what was the meaning of life.
Charlotte's Web, perhaps?

How do you know we are? Can YOU talk to the animals? How do you know they dont think it already? I really dont think its funny because it is quite possible that they could wonder about it, we are derived from animals after all......and if we can think why cant they?

That's cute. And hey, you never really know how animals think... so dogs could very well bark at one another, which would sound like annoying noise to us, but perhaps to them it's an intelligent, philosophical conversation! :)

How do you know?
I remember an old cartoon - bunch of animals standing around thinking, ",,and God created Camel in His own image...", "...and God created Lion in His own image..."

Well since i can't understand animal's talk, it is kind of difficult for me to guess what they are or are not thinking about.

It's also funny that humans are the only animals smart enough to be stupid enough to destroy their environment.

Unless you can talk to the animals, you don't know what they wonder, or even if they wonder.
