You are being unfair to yourself and his girlfriend. He is playing both of you. Stop now, before it gets worse.

I really think you need to stop messing around with this guy, and not even be friends with him anymore.
What you have been doing is really wrong. Can you imagine how your friend would feel if she found out this was going on behind her back for so long? How would you feel if someone did this to you.
Your friend deserves a guy that isn't going to cheat on her.
If you don't want to tell her the truth, then you should at least send her an anonymous letter telling her that her boyfriend has been cheating on her.
This guy will never leave his girlfriend for you. He obviously gets off on messing around with both of you at the same time, and I still think he's trash.
Find a good man of your own.
P.S. I don't think you are a bad person. People do things that are good and bad all of the time, but it's what you do about the bad things you have done that is important.

It is not wrong simply to be in love with this man but it is definitely a problem if you do anything about it - and you (by your own admission) already have.
The cardinal rule of getting into or being in any relationship is this:
FIRST CAUSE NO HURT
In this case it is extremely difficult to see how someone isn't going to either get hurt or cause hurt. The main fault is probably with this bloke as he should not have got involved with you (on any level above friend) while he was going out with your friend. It is, after all, his relationship not yours.
Having said that if you value your friend's happiness and your friendship with both of them then you must not allow this to go any further, however hard it is for you.

me and my best guy friend have been friends for 10 years. he has been with his girl for 9. they broke up for 1 year a couple ago and he chased me the whole time until they got back together. him and i crossed the line when young and old. we ended up remaining very good friends. are u willing to loose your guy friend if u cross that line? that is something u need to really search yourself about because sometimes once the line is crossed there is no going back. and if u are food friends with both of them are u willing to loose both friends. lastly, but most importantly, what does your heart say? is this just messing around or more, do you love him, and if u are willing to fight for what u want then what happens if u do start dating him and he cheats on u?
good luck. hope this helps

You are messing with fire! Stop and think how it would feel if your friend was messing with your man, you stand to loose both as friends. What kind of friend does that, I wouldn't call you a friend at all, you would fall in the category of NOT A FRIEND AT ALL TO ME!
