Or just recycle them, and get rid of them? I'm trying eBay right now, but not sure if should even relist if I don't sell, or sell like one of them.

Bummer. Those are worthless and they're hard to get rid of. Legally you're not even allowed to throw them away. What you can do is to drive around at midnight and put them in other peoples' garbage cans. Limit it to one monitor per block, and no one will notice.

it depends:
1) asking price
2) viewable screen size
3) postage costs against price

If you want good second hand price then forget it I can get good second hand price for last year's model.
A lot of people want LED monitors so CRT are 2nd class even though to me CRT is better quality size for size just more bulky.
If postage is going to be a good percentage say 15-20% of price then it is too dear. Can pick one locally much cheaper.
If he monitor is say 15" then these days that is useless.
if the monitor is 19" and above it may fetch $40 inc p+p. providing it is in top condition.
Personally I would resell them and if you only get a few dollars more than p+p it is better than nothing.
If you are not selling then the acceptance price and p+p is not making it worth. CRT monitors are as cheap as paper clips.

Unfortunately, LCD monitors are increasingly taking up more and more market space. You might find someone who could use a cheap monitor for a server in a small office or someone who has a spare computer they could set up at home with one. Good luck, I would probably try a second time but not a third. Try donating too.

Just recycle or donate them. See if your recycling center has an electronics recycling section.

If you just want to give them away, try craigslist for your area rather than ebay; that way you won't have to deal with shipping costs and packing hassles.

I don't think you can sell them on eBay. so you better go for recycling.Because i don't think anyone would buy CRT monitor.I have a Pentium II computer with a CRT monitor, no one is ready to take that even if offer for free.

dear member,

the weight on the monitors alone are worth more than the monitors itself. I've tried it already, doesn't sell one bit. only Flat screens sells. I suggest donating to a charity if you want to write it all off on taxes next year OR recycle them or sell them to someone else for chump change to pay for your next tank of gas.

kind regards,
ben

Please have them sent for recycling. 9-10 years is well past a monitors life. Do it for the Environment.
Else if you want to make a couple of bucks try ebay, but I doubt any interest in them.

Donating it to Salvation military isn't this form of robust thought, because of fact it rather is going to likely be snatched up via some shark, no longer via an extremely needy individual, because of fact an extremely needy individual possibly does not have a working laptop or pc interior the 1st place. i might attempt the two Ebay or positioned up a sale be conscious on your close by college.

Your best bet would be to recycle them as they tend to get "gassy" after periods of not using them. What happens is that earth gets into them contaminating the vacuum, causing them to produce poor reception and distorted images. I'd take them to a good recycling center and save yourself the headache of trying to sell them.

ebay may not be worth it, I would put it in a local paper for cheap, like $10 - $20, if they don't sell then recycle if you can.
