Beyond our solar systems is other solar systems, all within a galaxy amongst another cluster of galaxies, and so on. Space is real big, if not infinitely big. Space is nothingness, the matter contained in space, including Earth, may just be an illusion to our senses, otherwise, why would anything exist except for the fact that someone else made it.

You know what... of all religions, Hinduism still stands a chance of being the most scientifically accurate.... There's even a parable that correlates to the big bang and the vastness of space and the 14.7 billion years the universe has been in existence...
Not that I believe in it. They are wrong when it comes to the idea of the big crunch. Recent findings in astronomy indicate that the space inbetween galaxies is expanding at an increasing rate and therefore, may not ever begin to contract.
I just find it interesting that the ancient Hindus could have known all of this.
To the author of this question, I don't think that science and the Bible need to be mutually exclusive ideologies. Whether you belive that it was inspired by God or not, it took a man like you or me to write it down. These men lived thousands of years ago and had no clue about the nature of reality. It is peppered with a lot of rhetoric that is unacceptable today. Unless you want to own slaves, kill adulterers with stones in town square, or forbid men to shave, you have already deviated from biblical teachings. Ever had a pork chop?
Just so you know, I am an atheist... but that doesn't mean that you have to be one too... just don't stick your head in the sand. If you believe that someone created everything with a purpose, then the only evidence that he left of his existence is science. Could that purpose be science itself? In all of this universe, everything follows the laws of science and cannot help but to do so. So in essence, the pursuit of science is the pursuit of truth. The last time I checked, this was a good endeavor as far as religions are concerned. What has happened is that the people who rule churches don't understand science and wish to demonize it... It's no threat to religion, only a threat to the people in the church who don't understand science. For all of it's accuracy, science can only tell you how something happens... Religion is an attempt to explain why.

I do not know about the Bible, but in reality, the universe is enormous. There are infinite number of galaxies, solar systems, stars and unknown planets about which perhaps the human race will never know. There is the Big-Bang theory that claims to be the reason for the existence of this universe. Some also believe that Jesus was an alien from another planet like other gods and goddesses of different religions. Who knows, whether all of them do have a relation or not??

You'll find the answers to your questions and much more with a little study of the Fifth Canto of the Srimad-Bhagavatam. The Srimad-Bhagavatam (SB) is a huge literature, but you can narrow your focus to the Fifth Canto for the questions you ask.
As a little background I'll say that the SB predates the Bible by quite a stretch. To some this would be a good point and to others this would make it seem less likely to have good answers about astronomy and space science. To people in the latter group I would say that the SB is not a speculative treatise with info gathered by the imperfect senses of ordinary people. You can't get real knowledge that way. The perfect system for acquiring knowledge is to hear from someone who already knows what you want to know. So the SB is info passed down via oral and written tradition for millenia by realized souls who heard from other realized souls. Don't take my word for it, see for yourself. http://www.krishna.com/e-books/Srimad-Bhagavatam_Canto_05.pdf

Beyond our solar system are all the stars in the sky, for seasons and times. God created them too.
Genesis is an interesting book. There are actually two different stories of creation in the first two chapters. One goes with seven days, ending in the creation of mankind. The other goes from a different beginning to creating Adam and Eve. Some have suggested that the first story is actually the creation of the whole world, and the second creation story is just the creation of Adam and Eve, with other possible Gardens, or whatnot elsewhere on the earth.
The bible is really just a book of covenant between god and Humans. Jesus says God knows whenever a single sparrow falls to the ground dead, and that we are more important than the sparrows, but the fact that God cares enough about the sparrows to pay attention to their deaths suggests that he has a special covenant between them as well. It's quite possible that the bible contains only as much as we need to know about God, and that he may have other planets on other stars, where he has special covenants with other creatures... why whould that matter to us though? We just need to know that he created it all, and he cares for us.

Our solar system goes around our star, the sun. Our nearest star is 4.3 light years away. Our star and our planets move in the milky way galaxy and we are a part of it. Our galaxy is speeding away from the center of the universe where the "big bang" occurred around 15 billion years ago. These are not theories, they are observable phenomenon. Space is not nothingness...even space has tiny bits of matter in it. Matter is everywhere, in all of us, in everything, at all times. We're all made of the same things stars are made of. It all came from the beginning, and in the beginning God said 'let there be light.' Boom! the Big Bang theory in a nutshell. Who knows? Maybe that is how it was explained to us so we could understand.

Well it may not be in the Bible but the Hindu religion does explain all this what you are asking. It tells of numerous planet and each is like a stage or level. Where humans live is one stage and where demigods live is another while where Supreme Gods is another. Each stage has billons of planet system. According to Hindu religion God started all this life and planets.
Science tells about the BIG BANG THEORY but still no one was there to prove or withness anything. It is all a mystery to me. I myself am searching where the first human beings came from!!!

Most of the entire universe is not mentioned in the bible. For people to reject science because the bible doesn't say so, only hurts themselves and their case that their religion is better than anyone else's. How can one book sum up everything? Answer: IT CAN'T, no matter how much people insist.
Arguably, even God cannot be comprehended in any single book. To paraphrase Taoists: The God that can be spoken of (or written about) is not the real God.
Understanding does not come from limiting your ideas and sources.

The big bang. Although the bible never talks about it, that is because the genesus is only talking about the creation of the earth. Actually the big bang was endorsed by pope priux as the scientific explination of how God created the universe, and even before the big bang was popular.

There are more solar systems in the universe than grains of sand on this one little planet we call Earth. The truth is no one really knows where we or our Universe came from but you will get much more logical conclusions from astronomy and science.
