Its so sad to see the news where a lady was arrested for puttin a new born in a locker..how can this people b so cruel..i mean y not jus abort the baby or since they decided to give birth to it give it away for adoption or something..i m sure this people would suffer hell in life..wat do u people think??

It is absolutely horrible, even with triplets all screaming at once I never thought of harming them in any way. Some people just shouldn't have children because they are mentally unstable.

Yes, it's terrible to think that even today, babies are still being hurt by their parents. It sadness me...I wanted a baby for so long and had to go thru fertility treatments but in the end was successful. As a new mom I know the stress that new life initially puts on your life until you get into some kind of routine.
I'm not trying to make excusses for those that harm a baby, but maybe they had post-partum depression and we're to afraid to acknowledge it and ask for help. Maybe they were just afriad to ask for help from family and friends, thinking that people would think that they couldn't handle the situation and they went to the extreme.
I know when my daughter got colic and cried all the time I ended up at my wits end, nothing I did for her calmed her but I had enough sense to call my mom and say HELP and she was glad to help me out.
Sometimes you just have to wonder about their mental state, their situation, what triggered them to do such harm. It's not the answer to harm the child.
I'm so thankful everyday that I was blessed with my daughter.

Of course it's sad and disgusting. Things like that usually happen when there's a huge lack of support and guidance. I'd ask a bigger question like where was the baby's father? where was her own family? why did she think that was her only option?
People really do need people. There must have been some sign of distress in her life. One kind word from a stranger can stop a man from taking an elevator to the top of a building and jumping off.
Wake up call for society. We are our brother's keeper.

I think it's terrible, and very hard to relate to what that person must be going through to do such a thing. I can't even stand my children hurting for a moment. There are so many people who would love a baby, it's sad that people who hurt their children don't take those options. I think maybe they're afraid of people thinking they're a failure - adoption should be more accepted for the person giving up the child. Maybe they think if they "do away" with the child no one will know. It makes me sick, especially in a world where you really can't do anything to protect most children, just your own.

I think the people who hurt babies, have a lot a of emotional issues theirselves, and probably should have had psychological help before they even allowed around a baby. Some were abused as children. But they still make an evil choice and I believe they could control it if they desired to bad enough, if they would make an effort to get help!

How can anyone think of hurting a newborn baby? Simple...the person wasn't thinking.
Perhaps, she had personal issues to address that compelled her to commit an irrational action. Rather than being too quick to condemn, let's ask ourselves why a person had to resort to such a drastic action. If this person was our friend, why didn't we detect anything perculiar about her earlier? Why couldn't we stop her in time before she did that senseless act? Why didn't anyone even help her through her difficult pregnancy period?
Before we condemn her or her act, always ask ourselves, what have we done to help?

Abortion or harming a baby is cruel period.
If you do not want kids then do not have sex, plain and simple as that.
It just saddens me that people can be so evil and abort a baby or even harm one after it is born.

I think it is very sad too. I have a two year old, and I would never hurt her. I have heard of post partum depression. Maybe people with that, are the ones who hurt their new born's.

I think it is discusting and makes me sick on my stomach to hear of such things. I guess people cant control their temper and lose it. There is a case of a couple beating their child to death now where I live. So sad.

As a paramedic I see that kind of stuff all the time, and it still pisses me off.
