LOL!!!! I think the yahoo! male avatars already look gay enough, or at least metrosexual.
As for the comment above on the Animal Kingdom. Where are you living under a rock? Just Google Gay Animals and you'll see how many animals not only have homosexual relations, but choose long-term same sex partners, flirt, court, cuddle and raise adopted babies (in the case of some male bird couples - sadly rocks take the place of eggs).
As for Roy and Silo, two gay chinstrap penguins at the Central Park Zoo in Manhattan, sadly I believe that a nasty female named Scrappy from the San Diego Zoo, has broken up their partnership of six years. But I guess when you're a zoo, hoping that your flock produces offspring, this was a happy outcome.

Are you asking that Yahoo create some "gay labeled" avatar so gay people won't have to say they're gay? Ummm I would think if you're either asking, reading or answering questions in the LGBT section of Yahoo answers you would, at some point, find out that someone is gay. If you don't really enjoy the company of gay people then get your dumb a s s out of here and post your thoughts, or lack there of, in another section....or is the headbanging, Rambo watching, titty grabbing section closed?

Not everyone wants to be that open about it and would like to choose who they are open to about it and not and with the amount of hatred, fear and ignorance that still exists in society who could blame them?
And wouldn't that just be yet another excuse for the haters to accuse them of flauting their sexual preference? Never mind straights flaunt it so blatantly a million times a day. Straights are allowed all sorts of privelages that others aren't such as marriage for example. Straights are supremicsts in the same way racists are supremicsts!

Gay, lesbian, straight, and bisexual people all look different so there are different avatar styles they can use. If you're trying to sterotype people then it won't work. You cannot fit a whole group of different people into a box. Open your mind.

I don't think so. We have enough emphesis placed on sissy hands and dragged up hair. The last thing we need is people trying to use another steriotypical lable against us.
