9/11 commission just announced that "we are still unprepared for a terrorist attack and still don't have the means in place to detect explosives through airport screenings" and Bush's get em one at a time system will take longer than we have on this planet, so how has he made you feel safer?

Since the 9/11 commission ceased to operate in August of 2004 are you engaged in the democratic tactic of lying and making things up to prove a point?
Or are you engaging in the liberal tactic of distorting history to confuse the sheep who follow you blindly without fact checking?
What is the weather like in your alternate reality?

um, he hasnt... I was reading an article the other day about how the safety board is trying to convince people that it is safe to fly after this whole UK ordeal. But I say, After 9/11, the shoe bomber, and now this, how can we be so sure? They keep talking about all these "security measures" that are in place, so why arent they working? Because security isnt as tight as they claim it is and the terrorisits are just going to get around anything.

National safety comes from our military and other government officials, not just our president and I would have to say that he is doing the best that he can and I wouldn't have any more trust in any other person running for president! Lay off of Bush, he's still the president of the united states that most of us voted for, it's not the end of the world. Besides there was only two people that you even had a choice to vote for! He is only one person, it would be fooling yourself to feel safe from only one person. When Your trust should be in GOD and not to let fear rule you and your life!

He hasn't! Other countries are working hard to keep people safe, and helping Pres. Bush look good. He finally got around to praiseing the UK, But added his administration is doing everything possible to keep us safe. If his Homeland Bureau, is as effective as its size then maybe we are fairly safe. Past experience has proven the larger the offices are, the more apt things are to get lost. I'm skeptical.about our being safe.

I live in a small town in Indiana, what self respecting terrorist would blow up anything here? It would wind up killing more animals than people, and no one would know about it for days! So I feel pretty safe!
I gave up flying a long time ago, not out of fear, just out of money! I mean that OUT of money! ( smile) I would fly though.

Yes, I feel safe.. He has done nothing to make me feel this way. In fact I feel less safe now than right after 9/11 knowing that all he has done has been to piss off the rest of the world.. Good job W.. I still feel safe though...

I don't think Bush has the power to make everyone feel safer. When the other party has the opportunity to fix everything that's wrong in the U.S., let's see how and if they can do it.

Never worry about safety. There's something called destiny. As well as payback. You know ... you get back what you put in?
