Ok, before buying MP3 players, ipods, computer parts, and anything related to computers, it is good to have an idea of how they work and how to connect them.

Your mouse, and your MP3 player both use a USB port on the back of your computer.

If you add the brand and the model number to your question, I can probably tell you how to transfer the songs.

You will need to know how to select files, copy, and paste them to use your MP3 player, otherwise you'll have to know how to use Windows Media Player.

If you already have your songs in Windows Media player, there is an option to Copy/Transfer them to a Portable Device.

Well, you need a program that you can use to download the music to your MP3 Player (for example: Windows Media Player). I'm not exactly sure, but I think the little "pluggy thingy" at the end of the wire is supposed to be inserted into the USB socket (otherwise known as the socket you insert a webcam into) on the CD Drive. Then you snchycronize the music, and you download it to MP3.

I guess it all depends on the computer and MP3 player you have. The MP3 player MIGHT come with instructions to download music into it.

this guy above me is right, but you seriously need someone else to do it, no offense, but you don't exactly sound like the computer savvy kind of person
