According to the old wives' tale your ears will begin to burn when people talk about you behind your back. In Japan it's if you sneeze that somebody somewhere is talking about you.

There is recent scientific evidence that your ears get hot when you are having a brainwave - or it could mean you've gone out in the cold without a hat!

If your ears are burning and itching it means someone is talking about you.

If your nose itches, you are going to have company "When your nose itches, someone's comin' with a hole in their britches".
