I wanted to kill myself since I could as far back as I could remember. But when I was in 6th grade, I tried to kill myself at school, and I had to go to a therapist at school, and they called my mom, and when I came home she said "Why are you always punishing me?"
So, I grew up thinking suicide was bad, and it is, but it's someones choice, not anyone elses.
Well, when you get to a point where you do want to commit suicide, people might love you, but they don't always show it.
So That's another reason.
I don't like it, but I wouldn't like it either if someone I love, I guess that people are just afraid that everything in there life is going to change if someone they love and/or care about commited suicide, and it's scary, because you can't picture life without them.
My friends, brother commited suicide when he was 14 around Christmas time, infront of his parents, and her. And it was really hard for her. It's just the fact that if you fought with them, or if you made them feel bad or something, then you would have the guilt and think it was your fault, but usually it's noones fault, it's just that life gets hard, and you feel that suicide is the only was to escape from the pain.
Alot of people when they found out I tried, they hated me, they said I was stupid, selfish, and I don't deserve to live and that they wished I did die.
I also hate it when people say that, the people that want to die, are crazy, need help, or are just a coward.
Hope that helps.

I agree with you. My moms calls people who commit suicide cowards... but growing up as a teenager, I thought about suicide pretty much everyday. I wasn't a coward, I was depressed and saw no purpose for me to be on Earth. Luckily, I grew out of my depression after 2 years, it still comes and goes every once in a while... but I am doing much better.

They're not cowards but they are very lost, and need the help and understanding of their loved ones. God is against suicide and through him we can all find strength. I tried it once and I failed thank God because now I have remarried. I have a great wife and a wonderful seven year old stepdaughter. God had a place for me and he was not done with me. If God doesn't give up on us then who are we to give up on life.
People who call other people cowards for committing suicide, lack compassion for others.

I have tried to commit suicide once... it was terrible.... the only reason I lived was b/c my best friend found me in the nick of time. I also have lost several friends who commited suicide... and I still think that commiting suicide is the same as running away from your problems.... and it isn't a very wise decision. I am living proof that any situation can get better and it could be worse as well....

I do not think they are a coward, I think it takes a person with a lot of guts and determination to decide to committ suicide. Sometimes things just get get so bad, a person feels that they have no other choice. than to do bodily harm to themselves.
Sometimes I get so down that I wish I had the courage to do it. but having a child committ siucide and going thru all the pain and suffering, I could never let my other kids go thru it again.

its not the fact that they are cowards because they are leaving ppl the love them behind, its because they are taking the easy way out. whatever problems that they might have they arent going to get any better by killing themselves, yes they do end but it is the coward way to get out of dealing with life. you have to deal with life and get past it just because you think the world is ending doesnt mean that it is and you have to just work through it and get help.

my aunt commited sucide...I think it's more of a selfish act really. Because who are they to take their own lives that God gave them and end their problems early when everyone else is still suffering? God gave them botht the strength and power to get through every problem in life. Just like we do.
