I recently tried "Time factor" anti-wrinkle cream they offer a free sample with paid shipping, after I made the order they sent me an e/mail saying that they would automatically charge my visa/debit monthly for products they would send me.I cancelled my order the same day via e/ mail and phone. I keep calling the co. and leaving messages but no one ever calls me back. Now I am being charged 106.00 for products I don't want and have not received. How can this co. charge me for products when I only gave them permission to charge my card for shipping?

Call your credit card company or bank and have the charge reversed. Be persist ant in calling the company. Stop leaving messages, and speak to a real person. On your bank or credit card statement there should be a phone number where the charge is listed. Call that number and let them know you will be filing fraud charges if the money is not credited back to your account. Nothing is free if they say you have to pay shipping.

Yep, the same thing happened to me....I tried the sample, then was shocked to get my credit card bill with a charge for $106.00 for something I NEVER ordered...I called Time Factor and was told to send it back to them and I would receive a credit (I did receive their tiny container of lotion the next day) I sent it back, called them with the tracking number, was told I would get credit back when they received it which was yesterday, I still have not received credit and on top of that, the S.O.B's are keeping almost $30.00 out of my credit for their "shipping costs"....NO ONE SHOULD GO TO THIS WEBSITE, IT IS A HUGE SCAM.....JB

They legally can't. Get in touch with your credit card co. and let them know that you have not purchased anything from this co.and should not be being charged. Let your card co. know you want to put a stop on anyfurther charges by this co. Also report this co. to the Better Business Burea right away.
Also be very careful about doing surveys on the I-NET. In a lot of cases when you do a survey you are authorizing without your knowledge a service you don't want, but in some cases these companys will say this when they are caught at it. Example: Last year after my daughter deployed for Iraq I finally noticed that on our phone bill we where being charged $12.95 a month from two different services that we where not using. When I got in touch with our phone co. they explained to me what happened and they told me in most cases someone had done a survey in our house on the computer. We had been being charged these fees for 5 months it appeared. There was a number on our phone bill for these cos. When I called this number it was to a place that handled calls for more than one co. and they connected me with the actual so called service providers. I asked how they came about charging our phone bill for these services and they said that my daughter had done a survey. This was not true and let them know right quick so. They had correct information on our address, my daughters name, phone #, e-mail address. I made them return the money we where out back to the phone co., the phone co. then credeted our acct.. We did not have a phone bill for 2 months as a result.
This just happened again a month ago and again no one here had done a survey a immeddiately contacted our phone co. and reported this again and told them that unless they hear from us and we give permission there was not to be any other charges to our phone bill like this again and for them not to except any outside cos. billing to our phone bill for we would not have any need for any such services as our phone co. allready provides these services. When I contacted this co. about the charges, I found that it was one of the ones I had delt with last year,I gave them a good peice of my mind after they told me my daughter had done a survey , I also threatend them that I would be getting in touch with our lawyer.
Remember this that when a Co. offers something free it is not free unless they are covering shipping and handleing charges. They are getting a tax write off for every item they supposedly give away and there shipping charges are a bussiness expence which is figured into the cost of a product and is also a tax deduction for them.
A lot of these unscrupelous cos. pray on the females of our society the most unfortunately. As one lady said that they where very rude. I have found unfortunately that when dealing with such @ssholes as that, that it is best to be the bigger @sshole.
Most of us don't want to be an @sshole but when it comes to dealing with a @sshole the best solution I have found in my lifetime in doing so is to be the bigger one.

I have heard of this happening to others, but not with that particular company. If they are based in the USA you can call the better business bureau or go to www. fraud.org to report them. Do you have any attorney friends who can call and scare them? I would leave a message stating that you have contacted the National Fraud Organization and they told you to call one more time and try to reason with the company. And that if someone does not contact you back within 4 hrs that you will go ahead and file against them! :) You would be surprised how much threats work with companies. Also check to see if they are in the same Time zone you are in, otherwise you may be calling when they are closed.

Sounds like you need to get off a letter to them with some stern reprimands, also, freeze your Credit Card immediately. You can lift the freeze for future purchases. What a scam. Don't ever give out you number so easy. Have a male friend leave a messsage as your Liason in the law industry.

Call your credit card company and tell them you did not authorize the charges. The answer to your question is that once you give them your card number they can charge whatever they want. You may want to cancel the card and have a new one issued.

Yes I just got into a fight with them today! Their customer service is horrible and they are b******. I sent a report in to the Better Business Bureau. You can get 89.95 back if you send the products back with a signature required, but you have to call them back with the tracking number on your package. I spoke to Bobbie and Olivia, and they are hateful. I hope they get paid well to be horrible scamming people. Just call 800-658-7310, until you get a person, don't leave your number. Better Business Bureau gives them an "F" rating.

You need to submit a report to your credit card company. It might help to also have the number cancelled and a new card sent to you. You didn't order the products, you don't have to pay for them. You might also consider trying to report them to the BBB in your area or their area.

I suggest you go the Better Business Bureau website and file a complaint. If you have a company name and address, that's all you need. It's easy to file a complaint and BBB will handle the rest. I had a similar problem and it was taken care of.
