Not only can they be uncomfortable but hazardous as well. If your vulva touches the fabric of certain paints, some of the chemicals can cause infection. As for comfort, it depends on the fabric of your clothing layered over those undergarments and the activity. I wouldn't run with thong as chafing could be caused.
