You should wait for the sequels:

- Snakes on a Plane II: The Revenge
- Snakes on a Boat @ Cruise Control
- The Snake and I: Snakes on a Plane IV
- Snakes on a Plane: Episode V: A New Snake
- The Chronicles of the Snake: The Plane, The Black Box, and the Snake

...and the last installment:

Most brilliantest title ever. Just wish they'd use the Will Ferrel NASCAR Movie working title instead of Talledega Nights.

Is Snakes on a Plane out in theaters now? Any good?

First of all, I saw the trailer on television and said, "That sounds like a dumb movie." I was expecting some slightly intriguing title like "flight 739" or something cool like that and then I heard the title an laughed out loud at the stupidity.

Okay, it's dumb, and it looks like a bad movie, but I actually think it is a good title and I think the movie has been promoted well and will probably do pretty good.... I think the brilliance of that movie lies in it's overwhelming stupidity.

yes... and Sam Jackson actually fought with the producers to KEEP that title... they were going to change it to Flight 121 or something like that and Sam said that wasn't catchy enough so he raised hell with them and they decided to keep the Snakes title. sounds like a 70's B movie starring Michael Caine.

It has the same rhythm as "Beauty and the Beast". That movie is about a "Beauty" and a "Beast". This movie is about snakes located upon an aircraft.

I hope this movie is not where Sam Jacksons career is going to jump the shark!
