No... you see NOW, we know what the 1999 parties were like... people wearing cheesy 2000 glasses... afraid the world was coming to an end... and geeks telling us that the new millennium doesn't come until 2001
So... all in all... partying NOW like it's 1999 is like a bunch of accountants standing around wishing they were getting laid by Sally the receptionist.

It has the same meaning for me now as it ever did since I graduated in '99 and that was our class song.
