The rainbow has every hue in it, at a more or less constant saturation and value. You can see an approximation of all the colors using the color wheel in any paint program, which contains named colors we all know from the ROY G BIV acronym, plus thousands more.

The rainbow is whatever colors you want it to be. I say this because it is a stream of light peircing its way through a little waterdroplettes To create this beautiful phenomenon that we all call a rainbow. Its amazing how little things such as a rainbow have such little effect on people they only care about the color. Crayons, is how they see them like crayons.

Unless you go into physics and are talking about the basic colors of light then you're got red blue and green making up all colors of light, or colors of dye which are magenta cyan and yellow.
