pink floyd is so cool, wish you were here and time are some of my favorite songs, but the intros take too long in my opinion
u2 is good, but theyre not classic enough really.... vertigo is good, and where the streets have no name is a great song
idk much about the doors
im not really a fan of the police or sting.... roxanne DOES have to put on the red light
van halen is good, but i think led zeppelin is better
the beatles own em all, cuz theyre older, cooler, and were the most influential band of all time!!!

As far as album sales, the beatles are and always will be the best. But the doors are the ones who made music what it is today and had the better sound. They were the ones we can thank for all the headbanging, loud in your face groups. And they had the better sound by far. Break on through is my favorite song by the doors. If you had put Led Zeppelin up there, however, they would be considered the best rock band ever.

As for pure musicianship - it's by far The Police. Other than Frank Zappa, they were the only band to successfully incorporate elements of Jazz, Reggae, Rock and Pop into their music.
Favorite songs: Rehumanize Yourself, Behind My Camel, Secret Journey, Driven To Tears, Deathwish, Bombs Away and Tea In The Sahara.
Most people only know them from their MTV and radio hits of the early '80's - but they were a much better band than those commercial pop-rock songs would indicate.

well! pink floyd, the doors, the police, the eagles "hotel california" and the beatles , made story , and hate or love it they are monsters, no questions about it, but u2 for are the masters of masters, the bono's voice, the group quality, the instuments, are the same and the best song for me ever is " one"
