I live close of a lake, a lake house...and we have internet access and my connection is open.
I would like to create something nice with a presentation page and an invitation to log in.
is that possible, where can i find instruction and a software to install such system?

You usually can not do this with standard consumer grade routers. You will probably need to use an access point (some routers will work in access point only mode) and a separate gateway server to handle the client login.

You would need a special router - or at the very least special software in a server computer of some sort. Not so easy. But I know what you want. It is the same thing that I get in some hotels before I can access the internet.
