I'm 23, and for the past year or so my sex drive has gradually diminished to almost nothing. Every once in awhile I'll get in the mood, but it's fleeting, and if I don't act on it then and there it's gone. I'm currently taking Ortho Tri-Cyclen (the "PILL"), and someone mentioned that may have something to do with it. Another person told me there are herbal supplements you can take. I'm just not sure what to do or who to believe and, to be honest, would much rather skip an OB/GYN visit if possible. ('Cause we all know how much fun they are!) Please please please someone help me! My boyfriend is starting to get really weird about it and the last thing I want to do is hurt his feelings or make him think he's the problem. I don't know what to do!

Ortho tri cyclen is a triphasic pill. Get off that crap. It'll screw with your cervix and get you pregnant. (got baby number 1 on that pill) Not to mention a monophasic pill is soooo great for a good sex drive. Ovcone35 or Yasmin28.

Are you taking anti-depressants. You can switch to a different one and see how you feel.

I've not heard of the pill messing with your sex drive but maybe it can.

I find the more I have sex, the more I want it and the less I have, the less often I want it.

I also find that if you are truely getting satisfied, it is worth your time. Perhaps you can make sure that when you are in bed, you are very honest about what you need. I know it can be embarrasing to listen to your body and answer it's calls openly... but do it for excellent results.

That's a good question. I've often wondered why there isn't a "viagra" like pill for women? With medical technologies today, you'd think there would almost be a way to "match" someone's sexual desire - whether that means to increase it or to decrease it? Reassure your boyfriend that it is NOT him, and that you recognize that you are having some kind of problem that you're experiencing, and not quite sure how to "fix" it. I would recommend seeing a doctor about it. Certainly people will have varying degrees of desire, but if you've noticed a decline, maybe this is something that there is a solution for? Perhaps it could be stress related? I'm not sure. Good luck with your situation!

step 1 -excercise. this will clear your mind and warm up your body for sex in the evening. excercise has a tremendous psycological effect to make you feel more sexy.
step 2-if step 1 does not work, look for another boyfriend

what type of questions is this? I recommend pre-everlasting vacation truthfully. you've Rocks, Toys, Get Your Wings and Aerosmith. those are 4 truly sweet not person-friendly rock albums.
